Artificial intelligence, it has been a fascination for years. Ever since technology came around really. “Artificial intelligence is the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.” At one point it was only a theory but as technology slowly caught up to fictional idea’s like robot’s, artificial intelligence slowly become more of a reality then fiction.
People tend to take two different ways when thinking about robots there are a lot of people that still have their doubts that artificial intelligence is real and can have serious effects on society. Then there are the people that think Robots with Artificial Intelligence will outgrow the need for humans and take over. While these are two real possibilities they both have a seed of truth. It could go both ways but I tend not to think too much of extremes. Having robots as assistants to us is still a long way off. But robots like Sofia are very much real and even becoming more real every day. In the case of Sofia, she was the first one of her kind made and she has officially been given a robot citizenship in Saudi There are interviews with her and a few like her that are starting to be in the spot light.
